Friend –

It’s been too long since we all got together to celebrate powerful women working in California. As the legislative season wraps up and Veterans Day nears, we want to gather to celebrate the special women who #WinLikeAGirl for our country every day: women veterans.

This October, #WinLikeAGirl is partnering with Operation Dress Code to help women veterans get the professional clothing they need to transition to civilian life.

Operation Dress Code collaborates with non-profits, veterans organizations and businesses to give women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces a free personalized shopping spree in a beautiful pop-up boutique setting. It’s designed to empower women veterans so that they may pursue new civilian careers with the confidence they deserve and the respect they’ve earned.

All donations collected at the Sacramento #WinLikeAGirl event will be distributed on November 4th, at the 4th Annual Operation Dress Code boutique event in San Diego.

Many of us have an extra blazer or a loved-but-never-worn statement necklace that could use a new home – and if not, monetary donations are more than welcome instead.

Join us as we come together to help those of us who need it most: women who won like a girl in service for our country but could use a suit, pair of heels or a dress to #WinLikeAGirl here at home.

Limited-edition Supersisters trading card posters will be available for the first 150 donations received. Supersisters vintage trading cards were released in 1979, featuring famous bipartisan women from politics, media and entertainment, culture, sports, and other areas of #WinLikeAGirl achievement. To learn more about Supersisters, click here.

We’ll be donating professional clothing in every size (of course!), in every style (yikes!), and in as many colors as we can find, along with purses, jewelry and accessories. Our sisters need a hand – or some pretty (comfy) shoes – and we are honored to help in any way we can.

See you in October,
